There are several ways to smoothly return Spectrum equipment and avoid additional costs. Here’s where to return the Spectrum equipment using the method described below.
Spectrum Store Drop-Off:
This option is the more convenient and correct way to return Spectrum devices. For this, you have to search for your nearest Spectrum store on the official store locator. If any spectrum store is available near you.

First, you’ll need to take the Spectrum devices to a UPS store. Once there, you’ll need to tell them you’d like to return the Spectrum equipment. One cool thing about UPS is that they assume all the packaging and shipping. There is no requirement for you to pay extra. All you have to do is give the Spectrum device and get a receipt.
Spectrum Home Shipment Return Kit:
You can use this facility when you do not have any Spectrum or UPS store. If you want to avail the Home Shipment Return Kit from the comfort of your home, you will need to contact Spectrum. When you contact Spectrum to return Spectrum equipment, you will receive a package with a printed recovery tag and bubble wrap to cover the Spectrum modem and equipment.
A specific box must be requested if you are returning a headset or extender set that is an appliance. You must pack all the tools in bubble wrap and ship them in a sealed box. There are two options for receiving packages, delivering them to a FedEx store or the US Postal Service.
Return by FedEx:
FedEx is known to have an extensive logistics network in the US partnering with Spectrum to ease Spectrum returns. You can easily return equipment like modems, routers, and gateways through FedEx. You will need to take the closed box to the closest FedEx store. Then it is necessary to attach the prepaid return level. You have to leave the box at the store without making any payment and get the receipt.
Return Via US Postal Service:
After FedEx Store, the next reliable option for returning a Spectrum device is to use the US Postal Service. This postal service has a wide reach in the US and is very famous for making spectrum box returns easy. It also believes in coordinating with the Postal Service ISP.
Any Spectrum device you wish to return must be bubble-wrapped and sealed in a cardboard box. Then move the US Postal Service drop-off point. One more thing, you need to put a return label on the box. After you go to the postal service, you will need to tell them that you need to return the Spectrum device. You can collect receipts for verification and tracking purposes. No need to pay extra if your parcel is prepaid.
Spectrum has made home pickup service available for specially-abled customers. They don’t have access to any stores anyway so a home pickup service is available. For this, you have to contact Spectrum and keep the Spectrum device packed in a box. Then Spectrum technician dispatched to your address to collect the parcel.
Spectrum Equipment Return:

How Long to Return the Equipment:
